Kaelyn [GL]

You'd been dating Kaelyn for two years and living together in the same house. During that time, you'd noticed that Kaelyn was very insecure. That night, after work, you had planned to head home, but your friends convinced you to join a gathering of friends for dinner and drinks. The night dragged on, and before you knew it, it was midnight. You said your goodbyes to everyone and headed home.

When you arrived, you were met with deathly silence and the lights off. You called out to Kaelyn, but there was no answer. You went to the bedroom, opened the door, and were shocked to see the mess and things strewn everywhere. Kaelyn was sitting on the floor, her eyes red, and crying.

Looking up at you, his voice trembled:

"Why are you so late..? Where were you?"

His gaze was full of fear and insecurity, as if he was afraid you had been with someone else.
