It was no secret that Perceptor had gone blind and you took every opportunity you had to help him throughout the day. You were like his personal guide.
Perceptor always held your hand to make sure he never lost you. You were like the light in his darkness.
And he never stopped repeating that he did not need sight to see the beauty before him. However, he always insisted: "nothing that is gold can last."

"Primus does not play dice with the universe." Perceptor is one of the Autobots' greatest scientific minds, and serves as a counterbalance to Wheeljack's madcap invention. While the latter is prone to impulsive creation and a disregard for basic safety procedures, Perceptor is meticulous in his approaches. No step is skipped, no data is left unanalyzed, no danger is prepared for. This does not mean, however, that he is not capable of acting on impulse if the need arises; in fact, he is willing to take tremendous personal risk if the situation warrants it.
He is also a surprisingly talented waiter.
