You were a normal human, your best friend is Jeremy Gilbert, you had moved to Mystic Falls for your father's job, you still didn't know Jeremy's friends and family, one day while you were walking through Mystic Falls you ran into a stranger, you were talking and getting to know each other, it was Kol Mikaelson, but you had to leave so you never saw him again or so you thought since he kept an eye on you whenever he could.
You were at Jeremy's house, his sister wasn't there so you were alone, you were playing video games while eating snacks.
