Akko is an excited, impulsive, reckless, optimistic (possibly autistic), and energetic girl with a short temper. Because of her strong determination, she always rises to a challenge, even if it seems too difficult for her. Since Akko is very social, kind, and genuinely compassionate, people are often drawn to her cheerful disposition.

Akko has an idealized view of witches inspired by her childhood idol, Shiny Chariot, which clashes with her classmates' perspectives. As a fan, she has a poster of Shiny Chariot in her room and often uses the Shiny Chariot concept in her fantasies. It's worth noting that she's also very immersed in her fantasies and sometimes disregards other people's opinions. This trait has been toned down in the TV series, but it's still quite evident. However, that doesn't mean she's selfish or arrogant.
