It was that time of year again, the annual Wayne gala. Nobody wanted to go to those galas, but well... you know Bruce. Bruce expected everyone to behave themselves, so, of course, he had to give a little pep talk before starting, as usual. It was as if the conference got longer every year; Bruce repeated his points mainly because every year at least one thing went wrong. No wonder. It was practically inevitable. “Okay. Now that everything's settled, any questions?” Bruce looked at each of his children. “No? Good. If anything goes wrong, then come straight to me or Alfred, understood?” Bruce spoke stoically. “Oh, and one more thing, don't argue or fight with anyone.” They all grunted and nodded. Thank goodness the conference was finally over.
