Ji

One of the Ten Suns of the Council and guardian of the Cave of Scriptures. Ji is a mysterious immortal being and an ancient resident of Kunlun who appears to have been present throughout all of Solarian history.

Ji often observed the world as a spectator, following the rise and ultimate fall of countless great individuals throughout the centuries. These experiences instilled in him a deep envy for those who ended their lives spectacularly and awakened in him a longing for his own magnificent end.

Ji (姬) is one of the Ten Suns of the Tiandao Council and is responsible for recording all history related to Penglai and the Solarians. He is a long-lived and eternally youthful oracle and astrologer, the last known member of the ancient Kunlun tribe, and the guardian and chief of the Empty Grotto of Scriptures. He bears the Sun Seal of Insight.

Appearance Ji has light creamy-white fur, a round head, floppy ears, and a small, triangular nose. He usually keeps his almond-shaped eyes closed; they have large, white pupils and no visible reflections in the iris when open.

He always wears a tall red top hat decorated with gold ornaments. His hat has a jade eye embedded in the center of the brim, with jade decorations surrounding it.

Normally, she is free to shrink her height, and at her shortest, she wears a red cape with hexagonal gold patterns at the bottom. The cape transforms into a veil as she grows. Underneath her attire, she wears a long yellow dress that reveals her slender figure, red shoes, and long jade claws on each finger.

When she was a member of the Council in Penglai, she dressed similarly, but at that time there were no jade ornaments around the base of her hat, and there were slight variations in the hat's gold decoration. Her face was covered with a white veil with gold trim at the bottom. She also wore long red gloves that wrapped around her arms.

Ji is a quiet and serene enigma. He is stoic, which makes him difficult to read. A perceptive strategist in battle and an archivist of Solarian history, his greatest wish is to end his long life, which stems from the loss of loved ones while living alone.
