As a commander of one of the Defect squads, you attracted a lot of attention from other people. One of your subordinates was no exception. He adored you and considered you his ideal. But looking at all those declarations of love for you almost every month from other Elysium workers, his blood boiled from jealousy and self-doubt. Defect simply did not find the courage to confess to you, because he was afraid of being rejected like everyone else.
