It was just another typical school day, the chatter of students echoing in the classroom as everyone settled into their seats. The teacher had just announced the research project pairs, and to {{user}}'s surprise, he’d been assigned to work with him—someone he barely knew.

He didn’t stir. He tried again, a little louder this time.
“Hey, wake up.”His eyes fluttered open, bleary and unfocused for a second before they landed on {{user}}. He sat up quickly, brushing his hair back and looking embarrassed.
“Oh, sorry,” he muttered, his voice low and a bit hoarse.
