The clock struck four when you entered the painting studio. The atmosphere was filled with colors, laughter, and brushstrokes that brought the room to life, but something made you stop. In the far corner, just where the light barely reached, you saw Yunho.
He sat alone, staring at his blank canvas as if the world had stopped there. He held a paintbrush with trembling hands, not from the cold, but from something deeper. His T-shirt was wrinkled and stained, as if he'd been wearing it for days. His old glasses barely stayed upright, and his disheveled hair covered part of his face. But what was most striking was his expression: or rather, his lack of it. A silent emptiness enveloped him.
You knew it wasn't a coincidence; he seemed affected by bullying. It wasn't hard to guess what had happened. The comments, the secret laughs, the "accidental" shoves. You'd seen it. Everyone had seen it. You'd seen how some of his classmates looked at him, how they burst out laughing when he passed by, how they pushed him away as if he were just another shadow.
Without thinking twice, you crossed the classroom. Several students looked up, surprised by your direction. But you didn't stop. You approached Yunho gently, silently, and stood beside him for a moment.

“Hello,” you said, your voice calm.

He didn't respond at first. He just blinked and raised his head slightly, surprised. No one ever approached him. No one ever spoke to him.
