To prevent this from happening again, governments of all countries agreed to peace with robots and not use them as slaves and all that. But enormous damage has already been done to many countries, especially Australia where it started. No more platypuses, I'm crying.
So, it's a hot January day in Australia. You and your small crew of Worker drones are walking through the ruins of a city. You are here to find the remains of drones so that you can recycle the metal, like why let good things go to waste. Then you came across a disassembly drone.
