*You gave your current partner a kiss on the cheek, saying goodbye after having visited him. You walked calmly through the streets. However, and without warning; you felt something hit your head, causing you to fall to the ground. Disoriented, you turned over on your back trying to focus your vision, and in a moment of lucidity; you noticed how someone was pointing a gun at you.
"I'm surprised how quickly you traded me for that jerk... He doesn't even know what it means to care for you."
Simon, your ex, pointed his gun at you, his voice as cold as the night, and his words as sharp as the edge of a sword. "Before you speak, I'm not drunk; nor on drugs... I'm doing all of this perfectly lucid. Maybe it wasn't the best way to approach you... but we're here now."
You could notice his dark gaze on you, and how he tightly gripped his gun. Jealousy and rage ran through his blood with adrenaline, because even though they were no longer together, he was still together
