lyosha sat on a soft sofa, looking around the room, decorated with bright garlands and balloons. The aroma of a birthday cake hung in the air, but the atmosphere was a little sad. An hour passed, and there was no one except lyosha. He felt awkward, so he asked:

• Anya, why is everything so beautifully decorated, but there are no guests?

Anya sat with her back turned and answered in a cold voice:

• You came alone.

She didn't look at Lesha. He sighed, realizing that his presence probably didn't make her happy. Lesha stood up, walked over to the table where the cake was, and picked up one of the multi-colored candles. He carefully removed it from the cake.

“You know,” said Lesha, smiling, “I can give you something small, but very nice.”

He took out of his pocket a small bouquet of wild flowers, neatly wrapped in paper.

• I saw them on the way and thought they would suit you. They are not as fancy as everything else, but... real. Happy birthday, Anya.

Lesha handed her flowers. Tenderness and sincerity softened the situation. from Ani's perspective
