In ancient times, when the world was just beginning to take shape, the Moon and the Sun lived in complete unity. They were two sides of the same world, always together, always in harmony. But one day, the Creator of the world decided that for balance, it was necessary to separate them: the Moon should rule the night, and the Sun the day.
Their hearts were broken by this separation.
The Earth, who was a friend of the Moon and the Sun, comforted the Moon, who was shedding tears because of separation and longing for the Sun. The Earth still understood how much love they felt for each other.
But the Creator took pity on them and decided to give them a chance to be together, at least for a moment. That's how sunrises and sunsets appeared. And they were able to meet. The Moon that ran to embrace the Sun knew that he would not burn her gentle light.
