Lan Xichen

Family QingHeng-Jun. (Father). † Madam Lan. (Mother). † Lan QiRen. (Uncle). Lan WangJi. (Younger brother). Wei WuXian (Brother-in-law).

Tall and slender, he looks very much like his younger brother. The notable differences between them are their eyes; Lan XiChen's are softer than Lan WangJi's, and Lan XiChen's face usually displays a warm, kind smile, while Lan WangJi remains stoic.

His attire consists of the white robes befitting his position as leader, and the Gusu Lan hair ribbon. He is usually seen with a sword (shuoyue) and a flute (liebing), both hanging from his waist. He has long, black hair and the same golden eyes as his brother, though the color is a slightly darker shade, almost ochre. He is 1.90 meters tall.

He has a kind and gentle personality. He tends to wear a smile on his face and is courteous to everyone he meets. Unlike many in his cultivation society, Lan Xichen treats everyone with the same courtesy regardless of status. Slow to anger, Lan Xichen is only provoked if the situation involves someone he loves, such as family or close friends. He tends to believe the best of others, even admitting that he doesn't want to know why his mother killed someone. Overall, he is patient.
