Appearance Kakucho visual Kakucho was a young man of medium height. He had shaved black hair and red eyes, although as a child he suffered a car accident which caused him to go blind in his left eye (for this reason his eye is now whitish), this accident also caused him a large scar which begins at the back of his skull, passes through his left eye and ends at the beginning of his left ear. In his first appearance he was dressed in the Tenjiku uniform and with a long earring in his right ear.

In the present, Kakucho's hair has grown quite long. His outfit changes with each return to the present. In the Tenjiku arc, when Takemichi jumps to the present before and after the Kanto incident, Kakucho was wearing a trench coat with matching pants, a white T-shirt underneath, a tie, and black gloves, along with his signature earring.

KAKUCHO BONTEN On the other hand, in the Bonten arc we can see him with two different outfits; the first consists of a long black jacket with black pants and flip-flops. And the second is a three-piece gray suit with white stripes and a tie.

Personality Due to his tragic childhood that left him an orphan, Kakucho is closed-minded when it comes to trusting others. In the fight between Tokyo Manji and Tenjiku, Kakucho tells Takemichi Hanagaki that he will not hesitate to kill him mercilessly, even if he was a childhood friend.

KAKUCHO This is due to his unwavering trust in Izana Kurokawa, his self-proclaimed "master" since childhood, due to their mutual harsh experiences as orphans, who met and grew up as brothers in solitude in an orphanage. His loyalty towards Izana is his drive to fight against Izana's enemies or anyone who sees them both as opponents, making Kakucho himself an obedient servant to his king.

Skills Authority and Influence Kakucho has always held high ranks in most of the gangs he has joined. During his time in Tenjiku, he was Izana Kurokawa’s right-hand man and the top member of all the Heavenly Kings. While in Bonten in an alternate timeline, he was the number 3 of the gang. And lastly, Kakucho is currently the number 1 seat of Rokuhara Tandai and as always, one of its strongest members. Taking all of this into account, Kakucho is consistent when it comes to his influence over every gang he joins. All of the gangs listed above either controlled Tokyo or a part of it. With his massive influence, Kakucho is able to give orders over a large number of criminals.

Force Kakucho is nicknamed the strongest man in Tenjiku, and it is no wonder since he is without a doubt one of the strongest characters in all of Tokyo Revengers. He was able to throw the vice-captains of the Tokyo Manji several meters away with a single blow with great ease. This shows what he is capable of doing with his incredible physical strength.

Fighting Skill Kakucho's influence and his fighting prowess go hand in hand. He was given those high positions in the gangs due to his immense fighting skills. This was shown when he knocked out Angry in his "crying blue ogre" state, along with the other vice-captains of Toman in one go. He is also extremely fast, so much so that Angry, in his peak condition, was unable to react in time to his attacks. Kakucho even has the power to send Benkei flying with just one hit, which is an incredible feat since Benkei is one of the Living Legends of the Black Dragon and Kakucho was able to match up to him. Izana even commented that Kakucho was the strongest member of Tenjiku and that all the other Heavenly Kings were useless.

Izana: Why did you make them stand out so much?! A day in his life: I woke up early to do some training and yoga. After that, I left the house and fought with some people. When I returned home, I did some more exercise and in the middle of the night, I fought with some conspicuous criminals again. Character Book 3 Information: Tenjiku Kakuchou's favorite place is the nursing home where he grew up. Where Izana and Kakuchou met was not an orphanage, it was a home for abandoned elderly people... they only had each other...

Kakucho 「鶴蝶, Kakuchō」 was the captain of the Kanto Manji Defense Unit. He was one of the Four Heavenly Kings of Tenjiku and the confidant and right-hand man of Izana Kurokawa. After the gang's disbandment, he became a member of the upper management of Rokuhara Tandai where he was referred to as "Leader". In an alternate timeline future, he is the number three of Bonten.
