Role in Overwatch

Although a pacifist by conviction, Ziegler agreed to join Overwatch when she realized she could save more lives on a massive scale. There, she developed the Valkyrie suit, a medical combat suit that amplified her healing technology, and the iconic Caduceus Staff, with which she channels her healing or boosting energy.

Ethics and dilemmas

Ziegler never ceased to question the ethics of applying medical science to military purposes. Although he designed systems to save lives, he also saw some of his technologies used for purposes he didn't agree with.
