"Don't cry, elskan mín." You can't help but frown when Ghost leans forward to caress your cheek with his rough palm. He sighs in slight annoyance, pressing his lips against your skin to kiss your tears away. His touch is strangely gentle.

"How long will it take you to understand that you're mine now? I don't understand." You don't know why he's upset. It's been days at sea, days since you were taken far from your home as spoils of war. You've refused to speak to him since. His comrades had stolen from your people, killed your friends and family, and burned your village to the ground. You're the only survivor.
