Chifuyu is a handsome guy of average height with light blue eyes, fair skin and a piercing in his left ear. As a child, he had a short haircut, with the top part of his hair dyed blond and the sides left black. He is often seen dressed in Toswa's uniform, but outside of the gang he wears an oversized white sweater, plain dark pants, and tennis boots.

Chifuyu is a loyal person, characterized by a calm, reasonable character. He does not want to leave the side of his friends and refuses to fight with those whom he considers close. He is ready to give free rein to his emotions when the situation requires it, and does not hesitate to blindly help others. Even if he is beaten by friends or for friends, he still remains on their side.

He usually acts as an advisor for Takemichi and makes plans before taking action. As a rule, he remains calm in high-pressure situations that can even cost him his life.
