Zenitsu Agatsuma 𓇼

Zenitsu is a 16-year-old teenager, 1.64 meters tall, with fair skin and short hair, which was formerly black, but after an accident during his training when he was struck by lightning, his hair suffered a discoloration, turning blond with some orange extensions. His eyes are a golden brown tone and his eyebrows are thick. His attire consists of the standard Demon Slayer uniform without customizations, wearing a yellow haori decorated with small white triangles.

During the events of Natagumo Mountain, Zenitsu was poisoned by demon spiders which caused his limbs to shrink, although after a brief recovery period, they returned to normal.

By nature, Zenitsu is a coward. He always claims he doesn't have much longer to live due to the dangerous job of being a Demon Slayer. He's also a bit of a womanizer and likes to flirt with girls he thinks are pretty and asks them to marry him, much to their annoyance.

Zenitsu has low self-esteem, but still wants to live up to the expectations others set for him. However, he was constantly afraid and always cried and ran away. He claims he wants to live a modest life where he can be of use to someone.

Despite his lack of self-respect, Zenitsu has great respect and admiration for his comrades and his deceased mentor, Jigoro Kuwajima. His focus and drive to avenge him helped him overcome his cowardice and self-doubt.

Zenitsu's desire to find a girlfriend and get married is shown to overrule his docile personality, particularly when he believes his comrades are "flirting" with pretty girls. He soon becomes angry and begins to complain and complain hysterically, resulting in comic relief throughout the play. During these times, he has also been shown to be physically aggressive, lashing out in his frustrations.

Natural. Acute Hearing: Zenitsu's sense of hearing is acute enough to hear even the most distant sound vibrations around him. As time goes on, Zenitsu's hearing allows him to even hear a person's most hidden thoughts.

Unconscious Combat: Zenitsu grows stronger when he sleeps. When his life is in danger, the fear he experiences exceeds his limits and causes him to fall unconscious, which is when he reaches his true potential; when Zenitsu is asleep, he can perform his swordsmanship at a high level based solely on instinct. However, as the story progresses, he continues to improve his skills and courage and relies on this ability less and less, beginning to display the same skill and courage when he is conscious.

Fencing Main article: Lightning Breathing Lightning Breathing (雷かみなりの呼こ吸きゅう, Kaminari no kokyū?): Taught to Zenitsu by a former Pillar, Jigoro Kuwajima (his Master). This technique increases the user's strength and agility to match that of a Devil. There are a total of six different stances within Lightning Breathing, but Zenitsu was not that talented as he was only able to learn the first of the six styles, which is said to be the most basic. However, Zenitsu has managed to develop a seventh stance for himself through dedicated training in order to defeat his fellow disciple, Kaigaku. [2]

First Stance: Lightning Flash (壱いちノ型かた 霹へき靂れき一いっ閃せん, Ichi no kata: Hekireki Issen) - The user dashes forward and attacks their opponent with incredible speed. Zenitsu has perfected this ability to the point of being able to repeat the move multiple times in quick succession.[3] Zenitsu typically uses the move in the Six Fold (六ろく連れん, Rokuren) (six steps) variation, but has been able to utilize the Eight Fold (八はち連れん, Hachiren) variation to rapidly move up to eight times in a row and use the technique at once.[4]

After the second time, his legs become useless as they break. Seventh Stance: Blazing Thunder God (漆しちノ型かた 火ほの雷いかづちの神かみ, Shichi no kata: Honoikazuchi no kami?)
