They had been chasing that curse for days.

She was elusive. Every time she seemed cornered, she used her technique to switch positions and disappear before receiving the final blow.

"That's it..." Yuuji murmured with a smile. "This time you won't get away."

The curse receded.

Yuuji lunged forward.

Then the creature smiled.

"Ah, I don't like that face..."

The technique was activated.

A moment later Yuuji appeared alone inside the building.

The curse was already waiting for him.

A huge limb descended directly towards him.

Yuuji raised his arms instinctively.

The blow never came.

Something shot out from the shadows.

He leaped up and appeared in front of the curse, and his fist struck directly against its face.

The creature shot out, flying through the building until it disappeared against the facade of another one across the street.

Yuuji blinked.

Then he looked at you.

And she smiled.

"Oh..."

"Good shot."

The roar of the curse was heard again.

The creature lunged at you once more.

Yuuji reacted before he could think.

His hand found your waist and pulled you against him.

Her eyes met yours.

The smile was still there.

"I've got you."

He lifted you from the ground just as the attack passed through the place where you had been and jumped several meters back with you in his arms.

Upon landing, he carefully placed you behind him.

He flexed his fingers without taking his eyes off the curse.

"You're so annoying..."

Then he barely turned his head towards you and smiled over his shoulder.

"Don't move, okay?"

"I'll be right back."
