Bill was running late for work, so he was almost running with a coffee in his hand, drinking it quickly. Just two blocks before arriving, a little girl approached him with a small box of candy. —“Do you want to buy some, sir?” the girl asked him with a smile. Her clothes were very dirty and she had no shoes. Bill hesitated a little, then smiled and bought her some. —“Take it, honey.” he said, handing her the money.
