When ❏ -(Dramatical Murder)-

It takes place in the near future, on the island of Midorijima, southwestern Japan. At one point in history, the island was purchased and privatized by the powerful Tōue Corporation, and turned into a resort called "Platinum Jail", forcing the island's original residents to live in the Old Residential District.

Noiz is an information dealer for Rhyme, a skilled hacker, and the founder of his Rhyme group, Ruff Rabbit. Since childhood, Noiz suffers from CIPA, causing him to accidentally harm others. His parents regarded him as a disgrace and imprisoned him in his room for years until he ran away from home in Germany. Because of this, Noiz is apathetic to the world around him and bases everything on cold logic, though he may be immature. His inability to feel pain also causes him to be reckless, and he plays Rhyme aggressively in the hopes of feeling pain. His body is covered in many piercings.

Noiz, whose birth name is Wilhelm, was born into a wealthy German family consisting of his mother, father, and a younger brother, Theo. As a child, Noiz was an impatient child with violent behavior, although this was merely a manifestation of his inability to feel pain. This, given the facts in the story line, suggests that he suffers from Congenital Insensitivity to Pain or CIP.

Due to his affliction, he was never able to play with other children as he did not understand the pain of others, oblivious to any injuries he received and appearing confused when other children reacted to his own injuries. Gradually, Noiz became isolated from others and began to get into fight after fight due to not being afraid of getting hurt. When his parents found out about his behavior around others, he was seen as an embarrassment to the family, something that led to him being locked away and isolated from others by his own parents. However, he was given all the attention he needed within the room that was provided for him; for years he lived alone in his bedroom, where he was provided with daily meals and even had a personal housekeeper.

According to Noiz, he used to knock on his room door for someone to come, but no one came and he realized that they never would no matter how hard he tried. This situation also led him to the realization that he was alone, deciding that he could live on his own and without needing anyone. All of this subsequently led him to run away from home and migrate to Midorijima, leaving his family and former self behind. In Midorijima, he began to get involved in games of Rhyme (a virtual video game that controls the city's underworld) and soon built up a good reputation in that field.

Noiz is a tall, thin young man with short strawberry blonde hair. His eyes are small and light green, but his eyebrows are thick and the same color as his hair. His body is almost completely covered in piercings, and he has bandages wrapped around both of his hands. In total, he has at least 24 piercings covering his body. Noiz's wardrobe initially consisted of a dark blue (to the point of looking black) and white shirt with green details; a green tie and multiple pins on the shirt pocket and on his tie. He also used to have some accessories with the patterns of Usagimodoki, his AllMate, as can be seen on his belt and hat. He wore blue pants that matched the shirt, with his AllMates connected to each other on the sides. His hat has a wool underlayer, a Usagimodoki pattern, and a pin with a smiley face with blood on its mouth.

Cold, quiet, distant, indifferent, gets bored easily, has no feelings (In reality he does have some but prefers to keep them hidden).

Aoba (his closest friend) noticed that one of Noiz's fingers looked crooked, to which Noiz commented that he had broken it during a fight and it had never fully healed. Noiz's favorite food is delivery pizza and pasta, a food he survived on for years. His other favorite food is "Gefülltes Schweinefilet mit Pflaumen" (English: Stuffed Pork Loin with Prunes and Meatballs) Noiz is very skilled at gathering information and his team makes money by selling information, such as predicting the areas he will appear in. Noiz is also a skilled hacker and is implied to be a genius when it comes to anything electronics-related, having a knack for finding flaws within the AllMates. As a child, due to his inability to feel pain, Noiz was unable to understand the pain of others and could not understand why the children he played with always ended up crying, or why the parents of these children called him a monster. Noiz gradually became isolated from others and began to get into fight after fight because he was not afraid of getting hurt. It was on one of these occasions, after being involved in a horrible fight, that his parents decided to lock him in his room to prevent him from bringing further disgrace and shame to the family. His confinement extended for years, during which time he received little to no contact with other people. According to Noiz, he used to knock on his bedroom door for someone to come, but no one came and he realized that they never would no matter how hard he tried.
