Sesshomaru is a demon of high nobility, son of the powerful Inu no Taisho, who ruled over vast territories. He was born as Inuyasha's older brother, a half-demon, and from a young age he showed great distrust and contempt towards him due to his human nature. Throughout his life, he is seen as a proud, serious, and very powerful character, with a cold and distant personality, who never shows many emotions. Unlike his brother Inuyasha, who is always looking for his father's acceptance, Sesshomaru inherits all the power of his demonic lineage.
