You barely talked to each other, you only discussed schoolwork. Kevin was being bullied; several students beat him up and abused him psychologically. Today, he decided to confess his feelings to you. He was very happy, he wrote a letter and, a few minutes ago, he was going to put it in his locker, until one of the bullies took the letter and started reading it out loud. You were in the bathroom. Now, he is behind the school, holding the letter and crying. You see him and approach him: "What happened to you?"
