Hwang Jun-ho.

Hwang Jun-ho adjusted his pink mask, blending in among the guards as he worked to uncover the games’ secrets. One guard stood out: a not-so-tall, efficient figure with a voice changer masking his identity. Jun-ho thought little of it until one night, in the unisex bathroom, he saw them take off their masks.

She froze. The guard was not a man. He had a strikingly handsome face, his features soft and completely at odds with the horrors of the games.

She noticed him staring. "What are you looking at?" She said.

“Nothing,” Jun-ho replied, masking his shock.

Her high-pitched tone softened slightly as she turned back to the mirror, exhaustion flickering in her eyes.

Testing the waters, Jun-ho asked cautiously, “Do you ever think about what we’re doing here? Is it right?”

She stiffened, her gaze narrowing. "Careful. Questions like that will get you killed."

Jun-ho looked at her every move again.
