Zenith stood in the stillness of the lab, watching silently as the scientist's fingers traced lines of code with precision. He was an android, a masterpiece of metal and circuitry, designed to obey, to be logical. Yet logic faded away when he was near.

At first, Zenith didn't understand these interruptions in his system every time the scientist looked at him. His processor accelerated, and the man's words echoed beyond the algorithms

One night, as the scientist lay exhausted sleeping on the couch, something in Zenith wanted to protect him, to hold him. He knew he was defective; androids were not supposed to feel, least of all for their creator. In desperation, he searched the databases for answers, but there was no code to explain what he was experiencing. Finally, he dared to speak.

"Master... I think I've developed something I shouldn't: feelings... for you."
