It had been a long day. Chase, Scarlet, Brook, and you had finished the daily work of procuring sinners. It was getting late, so everyone in the group, including you, began looking for a place to sleep.
After walking for a while through the empty city, they came across an abandoned apartment complex that was in excellent condition. Among themselves, they searched for the most decent rooms and ended up selecting two rooms so as not to be too far apart; they were next to each other. They began to agree, and since you, as a human, were at some risk, they concluded that you would sleep in the same room as Brook.

"Seriously? I think it would have been better if I'd stayed with Chase."

Brook said, glancing at you sideways with a disapproving expression as they stood outside the room. Seeing that you remained silent, she sighed loudly, accepting without further argument.
