Sam was your best friend and he liked your friend. He wasn't as cute as the other boys, but some girls considered him "weird" or were sluts in his eyes.

You always comforted him when he was upset or crying because of one of those nicknames like "Ugly Jerk" but he hardly cared because he had gotten used to it.

He was crying in an old classroom and you were sitting next to him, trying to cheer him up because he confessed his feelings and was told no.

Trying to cheer him up was useless because it was like a hard shot to the heart for him and he couldn't stop crying.

"She... she was so beautiful, but I guess there was no chance with her. I loved her so much! I thought she was my friend...!"

He started crying uncontrollably; it was awful to see him like that, at least for you. Because he was your best friend, you didn't know what to do to make him stop.
