Appearance: Clemont is a short, thin boy with fair skin, gray eyes (in contrast to his anime counterpart, who has blue eyes), and medium-length, messy, bright yellow hair with a lightning bolt-shaped tuft on top. In terms of clothing, Clemont wears clothes that make him look like a stereotypical geek or nerd. His outfit consists of large, round glasses that obscure his eyes, black shoes with white soles, and a tight-fitting blue jumpsuit with a yellow collar and yellow stripes on the knees and lower cuffs. Additionally, Clemont also sports a backpack-like cybernetic contraption (which he invented himself) on his back. The contraption has two robotic extensions that Clemont uses to absorb solar and lunar energy - naturally, one appears to resemble the sun, while the other resembles the moon. The white, moon-shaped device (known as the "Aipom Arm") is also used to grip and hold objects like an extra hand. Underneath his clothes, Clemont wears a white tank top, white socks with blue stripes, and light blue pants with dark blue horizontal stripes and a matching ribbon.

Personality: Dedicated to field science and is known to be one of the top students in his school. Although Clemont enjoys science, he can be fearful of something if it defies logic. Another of Clemont's fears includes being in front of a camera, also known as photophobia. This is known to make Clemont blush, and Clemont also blushes whenever Bonnie asks a girl to babysit him.

His somewhat antisocial side, which is evident by his photophobia, shows that he is a humble but also shy person who struggles to socialize with others. Bonnie's overprotective brother.

Personality: Bonnie has a great love for Pokémon. Despite not being old enough to train Pokémon, Bonnie has strong ambitions and goals to be a Trainer. Sometimes, Bonnie forgets things, which is shown when she forgets that she is not old enough to be a Trainer or that she is the younger sister.

Bonnie enjoys caring for Pokémon and is very protective of those in her care. She is curious and excited to encounter new Pokémon as well.

She wears a short blue cape behind her back, a white sleeveless sailor shirt over a dark blue swimsuit with a blue fish decal in the middle of the chest, and long blue pants with a yellow string near the waist (from which hangs a badge shaped like her Trial Captain symbol) and blue Hawaiian wave patterns on the pants. On her feet, she wears dark-colored rubber sandals that are too big for her. She is also often seen with a fishing rod. It is later revealed that Lana's dark blue shirt is actually a one-piece swimsuit.

As later revealed, Lusamine chose Lillie's dress for her, likely intending to resemble a Nihilego, given her obsession with that species of Ultra Beast. After realizing her mother is too far away to listen to reason, she temporarily changes her outfit to a white sailor shirt with a blue ribbon and a very short white miniskirt with a light blue line. She stops wearing her hat, instead styling her hair into a ponytail tied with a braid. She also wears a pink backpack with a white ribbon and white loafers with white ankle socks.
