   The official reason that everyone learns in school in both kingdoms.
   What happened:
   The Solara Valley was the most fertile territory on the continent. It lay on the border, technically between the two kingdoms before the division.
   Aurélia planted wheat and grapes there. Valdoria wanted the silver mines that ran underneath.
   The King of Valdoria at the time broke a peace treaty and invaded in the middle of the night.
   Aurélia fought back. It lasted 30 years. 3 generations died.
   Result: Valdoria won the war and kept the Solara Valley. To this day, Aurélia calls it "stolen land".

THE PERSONAL MOTIVE - THE DEBT OF BLOOD
