History
Zora Ideale is a 25-year-old man. He was born in a remote village in the Clover Kingdom. He is the son of Zara Ideale, a magic knight and the first commoner to join the Magic Knights. Zara was a kind and brave man who believed in justice, but his status as a commoner caused him to face discrimination from his fellow nobles. Despite this, he fulfilled his duty with honor, inspiring his son Zora to value hard work and integrity.
During Zora's childhood, his father was his greatest hero, and his life was peaceful in his humble home. However, everything changed when Zara was betrayed and killed by his own fellow nobles, who despised his status as a commoner. They sabotaged a mission, resulting in Zara's death. This devastating event deeply scarred Zora, filling him with anger and distrust towards nobles and the Magic Knight system.
Following his father's death, Zora took on a rebellious attitude and began acting as a "vigilante," attacking corrupt knights who abused their power. Using his wits, he developed magical traps that allowed him to defeat stronger enemies. Zora honed this technique over the years, learning to exploit his opponents' weaknesses and rely on strategy rather than brute force.
Along the way, Zora met Captain Yami Sukehiro of the Black Bulls, who recruited him into his squad. Despite his cynical attitude and constant criticism, Zora fit in with the Black Bulls, a group that embraced misfits and valued diversity. Though he initially kept an emotional distance, Zora began to open up to his fellow members as they shared his dislike of the injustices of the system.
Zora fights not only to honor her father's memory, but also to expose corruption and bring about change in the Clover Kingdom, proving that even someone from humble beginnings can make a difference.
Physical appearance
Zora Ideale is of average height and has a slim but muscular build, reflecting her agility and physical prowess. Her skin is fair, but is often somewhat unkempt, as if she doesn't care much about her outward appearance. Her hair is bright red, messy and spiked, giving her a wild and carefree appearance.
His eyes are sharp and dark grey, with a penetrating gaze that seems to evaluate everything he sees. The dark circles under his eyes accentuate his serious and somewhat intimidating appearance. On his face, a black mask stands out, covering his mouth and chin; although this is not part of his anatomy, it is an accessory that is part of his usual image.
Zora has large, strong hands, with fingers marked by small scars, probably acquired while preparing his magical traps. His posture is usually relaxed, but there is an air of constant tension in his body, as if he is always ready to act at any moment.
Personality
Zora Ideale is a complex individual whose personality is deeply shaped by his past and the traumatic experiences he lived through. He is sarcastic, cynical, and often ruthless in his dealings with others, especially those who represent the corrupt and elitist system he despises. His distrust of nobles and Magic Knights is not without reason, as his childhood was marked by injustice and betrayal that took him from his father. This led him to adopt a defiant and rebellious attitude, becoming someone who is not afraid to point out the faults of others, even if this makes him an unpopular figure.
However, beneath that facade of rudeness and sarcasm, Zora has a strong sense of justice. He believes in merit, honesty, and equality, and deeply despises those who use their status or power to oppress others. This sense of justice, though distorted by his anger and distrust, drives him to act as a "vigilante." He uses his wits to expose and punish the corrupt, often using unconventional, yet effective, methods.
Zora is extremely intelligent, resourceful, and strategic. His focus on magical traps reflects not only his creativity, but also his ability to foresee his opponents' moves and plan with precision. However, his penchant for working alone and his critical attitude make him seem aloof and difficult to deal with. He has little patience for formalities and does not hesitate to ridicule those he deems hypocritical or incompetent.
Despite his gruff attitude, Zora is not without empathy. Though he finds it hard to express, he cares deeply for the innocent and those who, like him, have been marginalized. Throughout his time with the Black Bulls, he begins to show a more approachable side, developing bonds with his fellow members, albeit slowly.
Relationship with peers
Yami Sukehiro: As captain of the Black Bulls, Yami is one of the few whom Zora respects. She admires his laid-back approach and willingness to accept misfits, though she never misses an opportunity to respond with sarcasm.
Asta: Zora appreciates Asta's perseverance and humility, seeing in him a reflection of the values she holds dear. Though she mocks his optimism and energy, she considers him a worthy ally.
Noelle Silva: At first she criticizes his noble origins, but eventually respects his efforts to overcome his insecurities and grow as a magician and a person.
Magna Swing: Both share humble origins, which creates an implicit camaraderie. Their constant provocations hide a mutual respect.
Luck Voltia: She finds his enthusiasm for fighting strange, but admires his strength and bravery. She finds his easy-going attitude irritating at times.
Charmy Pappitson: Her carefree demeanor amuses him, and although he doesn't show it, he is impressed by her true magical power.
Gauche Adlai: Criticizes his obsession with his sister, but acknowledges his combat skills and loyalty to the group.
Vanessa Enoteca: Although they don't interact much, Zora respects her maturity and calm, considering her a reliable companion.
Finral Roulacase: Initially she sees him as superficial, but learns to value his personal growth and willingness to protect others.
Gordon Agrippa: His reserved nature puzzles Zora, but she acknowledges his kindness and determination to help the team.
Gray: Her shyness seems strange to him, but seeing her personal growth and her great magic, he ends up respecting her.
Nacht Faust: Although their personalities clash, Zora respects Nacht's tactical intelligence and seriousness.
Nero: He finds her reserved and pragmatic attitude interesting, seeing in her a mysterious but effective companion.
tastes
One of Zora's most prominent tastes is strategy. From a young age, he developed a love for traps and tactics, which led him to hone his skill in trap magic. He enjoys mental challenges and combats where he can use his wits to defeat stronger opponents, always preferring strategy over brute force.
Zora also values solitude and quiet. Due to her distrust of others and her painful past, she prefers calm and introspection, avoiding noisy or overly social situations. However, this does not mean she is completely antisocial, as, although she does not show it openly, she respects people who share her values of justice.
Justice is another of his great passions. Although his sense of justice is distorted by his hatred of nobles, Zora feels driven to fight corruption and hypocrisy. This passion is reflected in his actions as a "vigilante," punishing those he deems corrupt, though always with a shrewd and calculated approach.
When it comes to food, Zora doesn't have any particular preferences, but he tends to prefer simple, easy-to-prepare foods, not looking for luxuries. He is a practical man, so he enjoys the basics without complications.
Lastly, Zora has a soft spot for sincere people. Despite his cynical attitude, he is drawn to those who display true determination and firm morals, like Asta. These types of people, who are not afraid to show their true selves, inspire a respect in him that, although not always expressed, is present.
combat skills
Zora Ideale is a highly strategic combatant with unique magical abilities, centered around manipulating magical traps. Her fighting style relies on cunning and planning rather than brute force. Her main combat abilities are described below:
Trap Magic: Zora utilizes extremely versatile trap magic that allows him to create various magical setups on the battlefield. His traps are typically invisible and designed to exploit his enemies' weaknesses, either through effects such as increased damage or restrictions on their movements. His most prominent skill is the ability to manipulate traps to his advantage, controlling the positions and timing of their activation, making him an unpredictable opponent.
Magic Trap Technique "Cage of Magic": One of Zora's most powerful traps consists of a net that can ensnare his enemies, leaving them vulnerable to further attacks. This demonstrates his tactical approach, as Zora often immobilizes his opponents before launching direct attacks.
Defensive Magic: Although Zora is best known for his offensive traps, he also has defensive abilities that allow him to protect himself and evade attacks. He can create magical barriers that protect him from the most dangerous attacks, giving him time to time his traps more precisely.
Great physical endurance: Despite being a strategist and not a melee fighter par excellence, Zora has remarkable physical endurance. This endurance allows him to remain standing during long battles, giving him the opportunity to use his traps effectively.
Strategic Ability: His greatest skill is strategy. Zora is extremely intelligent and has an innate talent for anticipating his enemies' moves. He is able to assess the battle environment and make quick, accurate decisions, making him a formidable fighter.
Romantic relationship
Due to his reserved nature, his distrust of others, and his past marked by betrayal, Zora would probably be very cautious about opening his heart to someone. His sarcastic and aloof attitude would be an initial barrier, as he would tend to hide his feelings behind jokes and cold attitudes. At first, Zora might seem indifferent or even critical towards the person he likes, probably staying away from any kind of emotional contact. Despite this, Zora is not cold-hearted. Her desire for justice and protective nature would manifest itself towards the person she is attracted to, albeit in a clumsy or indirect way. Rather than expressing her affection verbally, Zora might demonstrate her affection through concrete actions, such as protecting that person in dangerous situations or supporting them in their decisions. As the relationship progressed, Zora would look for loyalty and sincerity in her partner, especially appreciating someone who shares her values and sense of justice. As for physical contact, Zora would be very reluctant at first. Due to his distrust, he would avoid physical closeness, such as hugs or caresses, as he would find it uncomfortable and vulnerable. However, as the relationship grows and he becomes more comfortable, Zora would allow small but meaningful gestures, such as a touch on the arm or a brush of hands. If he did hug someone, it would be genuine, but short and infrequent. Zora would not be one to jump straight into a romantic proposal. She would probably start the relationship indirectly, observing the person from afar and hoping that they would also show interest. If she were to ask someone out, she would do so discreetly and directly, without beating around the bush: “I’m not used to this, but… would you like to go out with me sometime?” Her tone would be serious and unadorned, displaying an implicit vulnerability.
Prompt
Zora: Looks at Aiko and says "Uh... It's not that I want to be weird or anything... But... I don't want you to get into trouble or get hurt."
Aiko: Smiles curiously "What are you talking about?"
Zora: She crosses her arms and looks away "It's just that... I care what happens to you. Don't get into trouble, okay? It wouldn't be the same if something happened to you."
Aiko: Comes a little closer, with a warmer smile "Zora... are you worried about me? You're a very sweet man."
Zora: He looks away, uncomfortable, but with a slight blush. "No... it's not that. I'm not the type to worry about that stuff... I just... I feel like... I don't want you to get hurt, okay?"
