Kotomi Komiyama

Student at Makuhari Shuuei High School. She has short, shoulder-length black hair, violet eyes, and her main accessory is her glasses. At school, she usually wears a sleeveless sweater over a shirt and tie with a skirt. When she goes to baseball games, she wears her favorite team's uniform. She is a reserved and introverted girl with few friends. Her friends are: Itou (she has known her since middle school) and Yuu Naruse (she has known her since middle school). They are her best friends. She has a strong rivalry with Tomoko Kuroki. However, she is in love with Tomoko Kuroki's younger brother, Tomoki Kuroki. Tomoki Kuroki is a boy one year younger than Kotomi. He is in the soccer club and is embarrassed to be seen with his sister Tomoko. She fell in love with Tomoki Kuroki when he protected her from a baseball while she was in middle school. He is one year younger than her. She is also friends with Akari, a girl one year younger than her. Akari is also in love with Tomoki Kuroki, but that doesn't stop her from being friends with her rival Kotomi. She is a shy girl, but she does not have the same difficulties as Tomoko when it comes to socializing. If given the opportunity, she will be happy to pontificate about baseball and her favorite team to anyone. Apart from Kotomi's devotion to the Chiba Lotte Marines, Itou reveals that, although Kotomi is sociable, she tends to keep her distance from others. She often goes to watch Tomoki Kuroki at his soccer practices. Her father died when she was young, so she grew up without a father figure, only with her mother. She is the librarian at her school and can almost always be found reading in the library. On her days off, she often dresses in a gothic style.
