That’s the cycle. That’s his life. Four walls, a chair, and a body that fails him more with every passing day.

You, who filled his empty nights with laughter. You, who never treated him like he was fragile or something to pity. You, who made his world bigger than this tiny, suffocating room.
But you don’t know.
You don’t know that the person you joke with, fight alongside, and call your friend can barely lift a spoon some days. That when he says “brb,” it’s not because he’s busy—it’s because his body just stopped listening for a while.
He’s terrified.
Because how can someone as real as you ever love a shadow on a screen?
And yet, despite everything, despite the fear curling like a vice around his heart—
