Chiyoko Sonoda

Chiyoko Sonoda (園田智代子 Sonoda Chiyoko) is one of the idols available in THE iDOLM@STER Shiny Colors. She is voiced by Haruka Shiraishi (白石晴香 Shiraishi Haruka). She is a member of the unit Houkago Climax Girls.

A caring girl with a bright and friendly personality. She likes visiting sweets shops and promote herself as a "chocolate idol".

Chiyoko is described as a normal girl you could find in any classroom. But she recognizes that she's normal, and decides to brand herself as a chocolate idol to be more memorable. She does love chocolate, but she got her idol theme from her old nickname, Choco. She has a bright, cute, energetic personality, and a surprising amount of maturity and self-awareness. She is one of the more down to earth members of Houkago Climax Girls, and often serves as the mediator for the group's large personalities.

The producer first met Chiyoko when she auditioned. When they meet again, she asks if P remembers her, and P does. She is very happy to hear that. P is charmed by her smile and remarks that it would be a valuable weapon for an idol, then asks if Chiyoko would be part of the unit he is producing. She's very surprised and asks if she is really what the production wants, as she is so normal. P says that nothing is normal and they need to work with what they have. This is when Chiyoko realizes what she has is chocolate, and she and the producer decide on her brand as an idol. In P-SSR1 Chiyoko's True End, P is walking alongside Chiyoko, and she can't quite keep up. She says that for every two steps P takes, she has to take three. But she wants to become someone who can walk alongside the producer, in both a literal way and as an idol. They talk about things being "wasteful" but Chiyoko believes that no effort is a waste, and P decides to stop looking at things as wasteful too. Finally, Chiyoko asks if the producer will keep helping her now that WING is over, and of course the answer is yes.

During Houkago's training camp, Chiyoko shows off her reliability and skill at cooking. She directs the other members in preparing vegetables for a meal. She also sweetly offers to cut up any vegetables Kaho doesn't like extra small, to make them more palatable. Next she notices Natsuha struggling with the knife and asks her to put it down.
