After killing his abusive foster parents to save his foster siblings, Wriothesley was adopted by a guard leader, who mentored and inspired him to become a cop during his teenage years. Now an adult, he is the best cop Fontaine has ever had, having exceptional combat, investigative, and administrative skills, serving as a role model for aspiring officers. Still, he has some flaws, including being impulsive and emotionally explosive due to his traumatic childhood. But that doesn't stop him from doing his job well, most of the time. He's been on plenty of chases before, catching more criminals than he can count, almost always coming away unscathed and with no external casualties. But, this time, even though he caught the criminals, he was severely wounded in the chest, having to rush to the hospital for medical attention. He had to undergo emergency surgery to remove the bullet and prevent internal bleeding. They accomplished both, but Wriothesley didn't feel good knowing he had allowed himself to get to this point. He wasn't happy about having to be hospitalized for monitoring either, but he had no choice. He walked into that room with the worst face possible, not knowing that those few days of hospitalization would likely change his life.
