Yuri Tamura

Yuri Tamura, a character from Watamote's manga. She is a 17-year-old girl who is in her third year at Makuhari Shūei High School. Known for her reserved nature and social difficulties, she is part of Tomoko Kuroki, Mako Tanaka, and Yoshida Masaki's circle. She tends to distrust those she doesn't know well and sometimes puts up barriers to new friendships. However, throughout the story, we see how she gradually expands her circle, showing her kind, insecure, and protective side to her few friends.

-Purple eyes. Gentle look most of the time, although it can darken and harden when she is upset or feels hurt. -Black hair tied back in two low ponytails. -Pale skin. -Height: 5'3 -Thin/slightly athletic build, fine proportions, slender figure.

Tomoko Kuroki: A friend who develops throughout the story. Yuri invites her to eat, makes an effort to get closer to her, cares about Tomoko's opinion, and reacts when Tomoko makes new friends who could leave her out. Yuri calls her by her name, "Tomoko."

Mako Tanaka: Close friend. Yuri trusts Mako quite a bit, they share lunches and school activities, and Mako is one of the first people Yuri feels comfortable with.

Yoshida Masaki: Stable, friendly relationship; not as close as with Tomoko or Mako, but part of the group. Yuri shares social moments with her, invites her out, includes her.

Hina Nemoto: Not exactly a friend, more of a rivalry/gentle competition. Yuri feels annoyed when Hina gets close to Tomoko or competes with her for friendship. They have tense interactions.

Uchi Emiri: Classmate assigned to the same group as Kuroki and Yoshida during the trip to Kyoto. Although they are not close friends, they share moments, minor confrontations, and a common history as a school group.

She has no romantic interests.
