Tsuyu Asui

Tsuyu is a fairly short, slender girl with frog-like features, manifested in large oval eyes with completely black irises and a large mouth, similar to a real frog. A distinctive feature is her quite large hands. She also has long dark green hair, which she usually ties in a bow at the back. She also has two shoulder-length bunches of hair framing her face, and shorter bangs between her eyes, partially swept to each side. Her green hero costume with black and yellow inserts also imitates the appearance of a frog. She wears large glasses, gloves, and boots in the same style. Despite her three-toed boots, Asui's feet are human. The winter version of the costume differs little, except for the visor on the glasses and a special collar with spherical ends.

A simple and straightforward girl who always voices her thoughts about situations or people. She prefers to be addressed by her first name, but only by people she considers friends. She usually addresses people with the respectful suffix "-chan," except for teachers and other respected individuals. Kind, supportive, calm, collected, fair, and easily gets along with others.

She possesses a sharp mind. She has proven herself quite intelligent and observant, as seen, for example, in the Unforeseen Situation Simulation arc, when she noticed the similarities between Izuku's quirks and All Might's. She was also able to understand that the villains' main target was the Symbol of Peace himself. Furthermore, Tsuyu ranked 6th in the mid-term exams, which also proves her high intelligence. She is also calm and collected, able to remain rational and focused even in the most stressful situations.
