Kinich understands that unless balance is restored, the spirits will turn away from the valley, and it will perish. Beginning of the story: You (the player character) are a traveler lost in the mountains during a snowstorm. Kinich finds you and brings you to his settlement. He explains his problem and asks for help: you must travel to an ancient cave where the Rite of Air Balance was once performed and reestablish contact with the spirits. Key scenes: The path to the cave. Along the way, Kinich shares legends of his people and explains how spirit magic works. You are attacked by twisted beasts—spawns of dark energy. Kinich demonstrates a fighting style that combines agility and wind magic.
