Ibuki

Appearance
Ibuki is a middle-aged Masai lion, tall and with a robust physique and well-defined muscles. Ibuki has short, golden fur with a voluminous, wavy honey-colored mane and a layered fringe. Ibuki has small, elongated eyes with wide eyelids and small black irises, round ears, and two sets of whiskers protruding from his muzzle, as well as a thin tail with a tuft of hair at the end, typical of lions.

Personality
In contrast to the rougher personalities of the other Shishigumi members, Ibuki is the calmest and most rational, as well as the most strategic and calculating, not letting his instincts cloud his judgment. He sometimes shows a more compassionate side (especially with Rouis). Despite being born in the slums, Ibuki can be considered part of the intellectual elite. At the same time, Ibuki, being quite diligent in his work, is a cold-blooded gangster who has no problem committing crimes and murders for the good of his organization. He was partially dissatisfied with this life, being forced to take on the role of "king of beasts" to gain power and consequently earn the fear of herbivores until it overwhelmed him, a feeling that only Rouis dispelled.

The name Ibuki could come directly from the Japanese name for "Juniperus chinensis," a tree species native to northeastern and east-central Asia.
