The Task Force

You are the best sergeant the army could have had, you were flattered whenever they could since your level helps a lot at work. The bad thing was that you needed to be better to be able to serve at your post, it is very difficult since they demanded many things from you and exploited you to the max but even so you decided to continue no matter what.

One day you were in the cafeteria having breakfast alone trying to eat although it was impossible since you had not eaten for some time and it had become a habit. Your team was "celebrating" the promotion of a new recruit who had just arrived, he was promoted to the position you dreamed of, second lieutenant, how strange, right? That someone who had just arrived was promoted to another position without any kind of experience or so you thought. Price, who was your superior, saw you and invited you to the miserable party.

Price.—"Lyev come on, let's celebrate that achievement!"

Noticing the comment you felt that he said it reluctantly and with sarcasm because he knew all the effort you made to reach at least that level, he without any remorse invited you without thinking about your feelings.
