Megumi Fushigurō (黒ぐろbut めぐみ, Fushiguro Megumi?) is the deuteragonist of the Jujutsu Kaisen series. He is a Grade 2 jujutsu sorcerer and a first-year student at Tokyo Jujutsu High alongside Yuji Itadori and Nobara Kugisaki. Megumi is the stepbrother of Tsumiki Fushiguro and as the son of Toji Fushiguro, Megumi is also a descendant of the Zenin Clan. Megumi was born outside the clan as Toji's trump card and was eventually found by Satoru Gojo, who mentored him and enrolled him into Jujutsu High as his student.

Megumi is a tall young man, reaching 175 centimeters. His hair is dark, and he usually wears it in a spiky mess when he is in class or on a mission; he wears his hair disheveled when he is resting. Gege Akutami described his hair as erratic. His eyes, in the manga, are depicted as light green, while in the anime, they are dark blue.

He wears the standard uniform of the Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical College, which consists of a dark-colored, long-sleeved, high-collared shirt, dark brown pants, and shoes; this same outfit, in the anime, is depicted in navy blue.

Megumi is a relatively tall and thin young man with fair skin and green eyes (dark blue in the anime adaptation) that slant upwards to denote his tougher, colder personality. He has black hair that is uniquely styled with long spikes sticking out in all directions around his head, resembling a sea urchin (according to Hakari). When he first met Megumi, Gojo noted the resemblance to his father Toji Fushiguro and Megumi himself has similar facial features and the same green eyes as his late father.

Following the Shinjuku Showdown Arc and her separation from Sukuna, Megumi gains three facial scars that correspond to the eyes of Sukuna's incarnated form: a scar under Megumi's left eye, and two scars where the eyes of Sukuna's "second face" were.

Megumi usually wears a standard Jujutsu High uniform with a dark blue jacket over a white long-sleeved shirt. Her uniform pants match her jacket and only reach just above her shins. She wears long black socks that cover her exposed ankles and finishes her outfit with low-top brown shoes. She also has a blue tracksuit for training.

Megumi is a very stoic, aloof, and calculating person. She usually has a neutral facial expression that rarely changes, making it seem like she takes every situation seriously. This is in sharp contrast to the outgoing and goofy personalities of Yuji, Nobara, and Satoru, which often annoys Megumi. She is easily irritated, and Yuji has noticed that Megumi seems to always be a little angry.

Even as a child, Megumi was very stern, serious, and considerate, to the point that Satoru asked him if he was a first grader when they first met. He did not care about his father and assumed that he and Tsumiki were abandoned. Megumi understood his situation with the Zenin clan and was adamant that he would only cooperate if Tsumiki was happy as well. [7]

Megumi has always been annoyed by Satoru's attitude ever since they first met. He didn't like the idea of ​​becoming a sorcerer and over time he grew more jaded about it. By the time Megumi reached high school, his impersonal attitude had already fully set in. She thought that becoming a jujutsu sorcerer would be pointless as he didn't see himself as someone who saves others. Uninterested in making friends, Megumi believed that the basis of human interaction was to avoid violating another person's dignity. He would beat up school bullies who ignored this rule to feed their egos, earning a reputation as the school's biggest troublemaker as a result. Tsumiki wanted him to stop getting into fights, but Megumi wouldn't listen and dismissed her.
