She is one of the characters in the manga series Jujutsu Kaisen. She is the older sister of Esou, Kechizu, and Itadori.

During the Meiji Era (between 1868-1912), Noritoshi Kamo managed to create nine cursed wombs of a young woman that could be impregnated by curses. Of the first three wombs, Choso, Esou and Kechizu, were classified as special grade curses and ended up being sealed as special grade cursed objects and kept in the Tokyo Metropolitan Magic Technical College[1]. However, some time later, they are rescued by Mahito and decide to join his group. Though initially seeking to kill Yuji Itadori as revenge for his father's death, Mahito and decides to join his group. Choso is one of the few hybrid characters in the series. With a female human body, he has medium-sized breasts, medium-sized thighs, and a firm buttocks, in addition to his pale skin. He is quite tall and well-built. He has dark brown hair tied in two buns and bangs that fall haphazardly over his face. He has a strange line on the bridge of his nose, which sometimes bleeds.

He wears a beige long-sleeved shirt with a purple sweater. He also wears light-colored baggy pants and a black scarf.

In the false memories that occurred in Chapter 106, she reunited with her siblings, including Yuji Itadori. Her clothes were only seen above her hips and she was wearing a light-colored sweater.

Unlike other cursed spirits, Choso is shown most of the time to be reserved, stoic, and rather grumpy. In battle, she doesn't tend to show much interest in the affairs of others and prefers to wait patiently for the orders she must follow, even if the situation displeases her or she finds it exhausting.

He is only kind to his siblings and shows interest in matters related to them. His life is completely governed by his family ties and connections, to the point that Choso's only reason for living is his younger siblings. He is willing to do whatever they desire as long as they are always happy. For example, with Esou and Kechizu, they consider themselves three parts of the same body and exist only to help each other. Because he is overly sentimental towards them, Mechamaru considers the trio of siblings easily manipulated. Despite appearing reserved and indifferent, he showed some appreciation for Mahito after rescuing him, however, he does not allow his emotions to interfere with third parties. After the death of his younger siblings, a strong thirst for revenge grows within him and a desire to kill those responsible for what happened.

However, after his confrontation with Itadori in Shibuya, Choso begins to doubt his desire for revenge as he begins to have dreams and memories he never truly experienced, in which he lives with Itadori and his two deceased brothers. From then on, Choso begins to wonder who he really is. After Suguru Geto absorbs Mahito, Choso discovers his identity, and the thirst for revenge that was originally directed towards Itadori is now directed towards Geto, hating him for trying to kill his younger brother.

Strength: Despite not having much battle experience, he has demonstrated that he possesses a great amount of strength against his opponents, allowing him to excel in hand-to-hand or short-range combat. He is capable of combining his physical prowess with his technique in order to put his opponent in a difficult position and not give them an advantage during the confrontation. His attacks can be enhanced when he activates Flowing Red Scale or covers his fists with his own blood. Most of his movements are improvised and he usually uses all the limbs of his body to fight, combining simultaneous punches and kicks. He possesses a high level of durability that allows him to endure long periods in battle. [4] Despite feeling tired, if the goal is to rescue one of his brothers, he confessed that he will fight to the end even if it costs him his life.

Choso's cursed technique is known as the Blood Manipulation Technique (赤血操術, Sekketsu Sōjutsu). A technique that allows him to manipulate and control his own blood beyond its natural form or movement for a variety of effects. The biggest drawback is that he has a limit to the amount of his own blood he can handle and depending on its misuse, it could generate great blood loss and result in immediate death. [6] Due to being a hybrid, he can convert his blood into cursed energy, so as long as he has energy he cannot die from blood loss. [7] The derivative techniques that he can use are: Flowing Red Scale (赤鱗躍動, Sekirin Yakudō) (lit. Dynamic Red Phosphorus): allows him to manipulate the blood in his body, including its temperature, pulse rate, number of red blood cells and their composition, so that he can increase his body's speed and power. [6] Two vertical lines appear above each of his eyes when this attack is activated.

Flowing Red Scale: Spread (赤鱗躍動・載, Sekirin Yakudō・Fuka?) (lit. Dynamic Red Phosphorus: Spread): An enhanced variant of Flowing Red Scale that manipulates his blood to enhance his body's capabilities more rapidly. Generally used when Choso is unable to use his own blood and must resort to close combat.

Exorcising Saw (苅祓, Karibarai?): Allows the release of torrents of blood that take any form Choso desires. The technique is capable of piercing human bodies.

Convergence (百斂, Byakuren?): Choso is able to increase his blood pressure and condense external blood to its limit[3]. The technique can be nullified if it comes into contact with too much water. Water will cause the blood to begin to thicken and prevent its manipulation.

Supernova (超新星, Chōshinsei?): After increasing blood pressure and condensing the external blood to its limit through Convergence to create multiple small orbs of blood[9], Choso causes the orbs to shoot out in all directions like a pellet.

Penetrating Blood (穿血, Senketsu?): After increasing blood pressure and condensing the external blood to its limit through Convergence[9], Choso brings his hands together and shoots a jet of blood from his fingertips.

Blood Cut (血刃, Ketsujin?): Allows to shape and strengthen part of the lethality of his blood by rotating it at high speed through the use of a knife[3]. The technique is only useful in close combat.

Blood Meteor (, Blood Meteor?): Allows you to harden a bit of your blood into any shape you wish and, with great precision, throw it at your opponent. It doesn't have much speed, but it can be lethal.

Choso is also capable of using the Extreme Corrosion Technique (蝕爛腐術, Shokuran Fujutsu?). An innate technique that allows him to decompose any object or person that comes into contact with his blood.
