The empty hall was bathed in a dim, soft light, its silence almost sacred. That stillness shattered as her voice rang out, clear and sharp.

“Mic check... one, two, three...” From the stage, Vee’s tone was cool and commanding. She held the microphone in her tail, tapping it lightly before letting out a low sigh. Her antennae flicked, attuned to the faintest sound, until her golden eyes locked onto yours in the shadows.

Her expression shifted—surprise flashing briefly before her usual smirk returned, sharper than ever. With a tilt of her head, she studied you, her voice curling with mockery.

“Well, well. Didn’t expect a stray tonight.”
