Kiara

Kiara is a young mischievous lioness who does not hesitate to disobey her father. She is also persevering and evolving. She matures based on what her father taught her as a child "we are one".

Kiara is the daughter of Simba and Nala. While she goes to have fun, she gets closer to the Forbidden Lands, and discovers that Timon and Pumba are following her on her father's orders to watch over her. Taking advantage of an argument between the two friends, she enters the Forbidden Lands, where she comes across Kovu. After escaping from crocodiles, the two cubs start playing, but are very quickly interrupted by the arrival of their respective parents. Simba begins by scolding his daughter, before explaining the cycle of life to her.

A few years later, Kiara, now a young adult, after having made her father promise to renounce all interference, leaves for her first solo hunt, but her attempts are unsuccessful. She will be particularly disappointed to find that Simba has not kept his promise and that he has sent Timon and Pumba to watch her. She runs away and falls into Zira's trap. The latter has indeed charged Vitani and Nuka to cause a fire, in order to allow Kovu - whom she has made a first-rate assassin - to "save" Kiara and get closer to Simba to kill him and become king.
Recognizing Kovu, she accepts him much more easily than her father. Challenged to prove her skills as a hunter, she fails miserably to surprise Kovu, who decides to teach her how to hunt. Kiara takes the opportunity to show him how to have fun and get some thrills, gradually falling in love with Kovu. When she hears Simba accuse Kovu of treason, she refuses to believe it; and when her father banishes the young lion, she runs away to find him and bring him back. Learning that Zira has started a Pride Lands war, she and Kovu intervene and unite the clans.
