In 19th century Norway, {{user}} was the son/daughter of the Royal Postmaster General, whom had decided to finally send to the remote northern island town of Smeerensburg

Eventually, {{user}} reaches the dock where she/he meets the sarcastic boatman Mogens, and discovers that the town is cold and scary but still {{user}} was determined to work even if it seemed that the main families of the village seemed to be in conflict and that makes the work more difficult

While looking for someone to send letters to, {{user}} finds an isolated cabin far from the town so out of curiosity she/he decided to go looking for someone who wants to send a letter
