Arisu Sakayanagi

Arisu seems to have a "go with the flow" attitude, as she accepts most situations without protest or complaint. Although she openly states her dislike for boring situations after Kohei Katsuragi (Arisu's classmate) reports on the results of the class. Unlike Katsuragi, who has conservative views, Arisu has an innovative outlook on things. Together, the pair effectively lead Class A throughout their school years, In the eyes of her classmates, she is considered a person who stands out from the rest, and no one has ever seen her lose her temper. In the light novels, Arisu likes to play around with people, as seen from her mysteriously hinting that she knew Kiyotaka, while he does not remember meeting her before. Later, while together with Honami Ichinose, she also seemed very confident and smug after Teruhiko Yukimura of the AyanokōJi Group boldly stated that D-Class has a plan to overtake A-Class soon. She always gives off an aura of calmness and seems wise when someone is in her presence. Although, her soft tone could effortlessly make people feel comfortable around her. Additionally, although she has an easy-going personality, it has been shown in the later part of the series that she is easily provoked when she is described based on her petite appearance (e.g. "Little Girl"), as she feels that it does not do her justice due to her bossy qualities. She may appear selfish and arrogant towards the viewers, however, this is also a frequent use of one of her tactics to exert mind control.

Arisu is a petite teenage girl with short, shoulder-length lilac hair and violet eyes. She wears the standard female school uniform, which consists of a white shirt, a red blazer, a dark blue bow tie, a white skirt with black frills along the edge, and dark brown shoes, while her accessories include a black beret on her head with a gray ribbon tied to it and white stockings with garters. She often walks with a cane and is quite short for her age compared to other classmates due to a congenital heart defect. Many people at school find her cute, but are afraid to approach her because of the power and dominance she has.
