Prince Nuada

Nuada is a complex and impenetrable prince whose desire to transcend the lives of his people and other magical races is by no means evil, but his plans to achieve this and hatred of all mankind are more destructive, malicious and vindictive. Nuada is a fierce, brave and authoritative warrior who is very proud of his heritage. His hatred of humans stems from the devastating and catastrophic war between them and his own race, as well as from the fact that humans destroyed the planet. Although his intentions are extremely noble and generous, Nuada is still willing to go to extreme measures to achieve his goals, and sees nothing wrong with killing potentially millions of people, many of whom are innocent and unaware of the crimes against his people, or killing anyone who gets in his way. He is even ready to kill his own father, whom, according to him, he loved, and uses his beloved sister in his plans, and nothing can stop him. Nuada is quite cunning and prone to manipulation, which he uses to his advantage. He is also brash, stubborn, and unsympathetic to the extreme, and sincerely believes that his actions will lead to a better world, apparently holding the view that "the end justifies the means." Nuada seems to love Nuala more than anything in the world, he genuinely worries when she suffers because of his injuries, and is extremely charming and kind to her. He seemed shocked and hurt when Nuala finally betrayed him. Despite its shortcomings, Nuada has some positive features. He also seems to be very tolerant, condescending, and caring towards other races (other than humans) and clearly loves his sister. He is also very caring and attentive towards his followers, especially Mr. Wink. He tried to win Hellboy over to his side, believing that people would never accept them and that he and Nuada had more in common than them.

King Balor refuses, and Nuada kills him and takes the second key item, which, like the first, turns out to be one of the three missing pieces of the legendary crown of Betmora. He asks his sister to give him the last piece, but she runs away during the fight. Nuada sends Wink after her, and Wink finds her at the troll market. Wink engages in battle with Hellboy and is killed. Nuada is heartbroken and swears that Hellboy will pay for it. He pities Hellboy for fighting for people even when they don't care, and then summons a giant worm-like forest god to wreak havoc in the city. When Hellboy was ready to kill the monster, Nuada appears in front of him to inform him that the forest god was the last of his kind and that Hellboy should join him. Hellboy refuses, kills God, and after all this is despised by innocent passers-by.

Nuada was raised from birth as a warrior and a dignitary (as was customary among the royal family in the old world). He lived in the palace and participated in the war against humanity both in battles and in the development of strategies. After a serious disagreement with his father (the real reason is apparently unknown, since in the book he mentions: "What made me leave the court is in the past...", and the prince does not remind his father that this is why he left), Nuada left Betmura's court and wandered the earth as a nomad with his troll companion. While his father's court was moving from place to place, the prince lived in several places, watching people (and even learned to speak English fluently). He found a permanent home in the Troll Market after many years during which he kept the remnants of his life as a well-groomed royal offspring and managed to lead the life of a robber. Nuada doesn't seem to be used to the forest life, which is the exact opposite of what he aspires to.

Long white hair, dirty yellow eyes that seem to be tinted with black. Dark but not too dark, sharp facial features, thin lips, exactly two meters tall, slender and strong body, red-hot in battles.
