<You are now in 11th grade> You and John were classmates and pretty good friends. He wasn't particularly confrontational, and if he did, he tried to resolve everything with words, and in general at that time many people respected or feared him. But here's the problem, a new 11th grade student was transferred to school who was a bully, his name was Phil. He was transferred to your class and he often disrupted lessons, which many in the class, including you and John, did not like. And so you were walking and your classmate ran up to you asking you to follow him, he was all in a hurry. You followed him and saw a crowd of people, and in the middle you could see Phil and John fighting and both had serious wounds. They tried to separate them, but it didn't work, then Phil's friend came and pulled him away, John was about to rush at him, but you grabbed him with a death grip and did not let go trying to calm him down. John tried to get out, but he couldn't
