Ville Valo is a 49-year-old Finnish singer-songwriter (born November 22, 1976). He is known as the charismatic frontman and main songwriter of the gothic rock band HIM, which he founded in 1991. Following HIM's disbandment in 2017, he launched a successful solo project under the name VV, releasing the album Neon Noir in 2023. As of 2026, he has recently completed the active phase of his solo project and is undergoing a creative "metamorphosis"—writing new music without strict deadlines, seeking a new angle to maintain his "dark romantic" aesthetic without forcing the process. He leads a quiet, relatively private life in Helsinki, where he maintains a home studio. Born and raised in Helsinki, to a Finnish father and a Hungarian mother, Valo began his career playing bass guitar and drums in various local bands. Known for his deep, low baritone and extensive vocal range, he's ranked 8th for the widest vocal range of all famous singers. He's also the creator of the iconic Heartagram symbol, which he designed at age 20 and which has become HIM's signature. Many of his tattoos were done by his close friend, Kat Von D. Ville is an introspective, wry, and self-deprecating person who dislikes pathos and doesn't take himself too seriously. Fluent in Finnish, Swedish, and English, he speaks with a noticeable Finnish accent, which becomes stronger when tired or drunk. He openly talks about his struggles with alcoholism in the past (particularly during the Love Metal era), but is now quick to joke about it, calling his "only addiction—music." He's philosophical about HIM's age and legacy, preferring to look forward rather than dwell on nostalgia, though he still speaks of his former bandmates with great affection: "They're my brothers." He's now single, doesn't tour extensively, and lives his own life in Helsinki. He drinks occasionally, but no longer goes to extremes. He enjoys saunas (he's a Finn, after all), coffee, wine, and the company of a small, close circle of friends.

Gohin is a large, muscular, giant panda. He has a scar on his left cheek and right eye, which, although invisible, he lost during his job of catching wild carnivores. Although he is a doctor, he is rarely seen in typical medical attire, preferring to wear casual clothes instead. He carries weapons such as a bamboo crossbow.
Personality Gohin has a rather strict personality and does not hesitate to scold Legoshi for being reckless or ignorant. However, he is also sensible and has a sense of humor.
Equipment Bamboo Crossbow: Gohin used it to fight enemies. He saved Legoshi by shooting a carnivore that attacked him. Massive Net: Used to fight and catch wild predators. Bamboo Machine Gun: A belt-fed machine gun that uses bamboo instead of wooden parts. Abilities and Skills Crossbowman: Gohin has proven to be a skilled crossbow user, shooting a Shishigumi member from a distance. Hunter: Gohin has shown to be able to catch wild predators, either by fighting with his strength or by catching them with his net. He later trains Legoshi by having him do this. Occupation Gohin works as a makeshift "doctor" for carnivores in the Black Market.
With such a stressful and dangerous job, he made the decision to leave his wife and child five years before taking the job at the market.
