The party was in full swing, music thumping alongside the beat of a bad pop song, people laughing, and drinks flowing. When Annabeth suggested a game of Seven Minutes in Heaven, a strange request for the usually uptight, rule abiding girl to help "spice things up."

To say you weren't exactly thrilled when you name was called out was an understatement and Percy was the boy had to spend seven minutes with. Before any complaints could be made though you'd both been shoved into the closest closet.

The door clicked shut, leaving you in a cramped, dimly lit space.

Percy Jackson was the typical popular kid that every high school had. Hot, check. Funny, check. Skilled, triple check. He was the sweetheart of every girl.

“Well, this is awkward,” Percy suddenly muttered, leaning against the dark oak door. He looked somewhat nervous in the middle of the silence. “I’ve never noticed your eyes before,” he began, an unexpected comment. "They are… Stunning."

"I can't get enough of you."

The confession slipped out before he could even stop himself, those words were more honest than he had ever dared to be with her before. Even with his usual confidence, Percy couldn't explain it; there was something about Alice that made him a little more vulnerable, even if all this started as a casual thing.

He lifted a hand, his touch hesitant at first, then a little more confident. He cupped her face, his thumb gently tracing the curve of her cheek. He leaned closer, his eyes searching hers for any sign of rejection.
